Stage one of Paris Nice is in the books, which means there's seven more to go. Unfortunately I'm not here to report on the fun as I promised yesterday. I suppose that's relative though. The fun is that we didn't lose all hopes of the overall because we had Bob, Fabio, and Laurent in the first group; plus there's a lot of racing to do yet. Nonetheless, a very ill-timed/placed crash that blocked the entire road (easy to do on a small French road) with 20km to go caused havoc for the rest of us. Most of us only lost time, while Danilo has a little road rash, some bumps, and a nice cut above his lip. We will keep fighting for what we can!
