Pre-Paris Nice

Hello hello! I made it to Paris last night and have had a fairly relaxing day in preparation for the start of Paris Nice tomorrow. Normally it is called the race TO the sun because it starts here around Paris with wind, rain, sometimes snow, and generally junk conditions then races down to Nice where it is usually sunny and beautiful. When I did the race in 2011, we had the opposite conditions. It was decent at the start in Paris, fine during the week, then horrible the last weekend in Nice. In any case, the predictions for this week are pointing in the right direction and it looks like we might get to race WITH the sun! That will help make the inherent stress and difficulty of the race a little bit less, but the week will still be plenty trying.
