Into the Mountains We Go!

Apologies for lack of an update in the past few days. Here's the quick and dirty: stage 10 hard crash, rest day morning I felt fine, rest day afternoon had a major turn and fell ill, didn't leave bed until noon on the day of the TT, survived the time cut in the TT, began feeling human again the day after the TT, have been trying to restore the energy and reserves for the past two stages. The good news is that the aches/pains from the crash are going away and I am feeling stronger and closer to normal on the bike. There you have it!

Tomorrow we start the first of three big mountain stages. We will spend the majority of tomorrow's stage in Andorra. The climbs are big and difficult, but we're up for the task. Hope I can provide some exciting updates in the coming days!

Great to hear you'll be with the Trek team again next year. Well deserved after a great season. Good luck in the home stretch of the Vuelta.
