Well, there's nothing too exciting to report from the last two stages. Stage three was a sprint finish, and our only goals were to keep Tony in the white jersey and protect Haimar. We accomplished those, so then it was left to them to ride a good time trial yesterday to stay in the gc mix. Both rode great time trials and are in a good position as the big mountain stages loom. For me, I had an unplanned off day. I'm not sure what happened, but I struggled to find any rhythm and couldn't will my legs to produce the power. I lost significant time and am really disappointed, but you can't win them all! I really hope my body responds favorably to the effort, like a jump start of sorts; although, the first few stages felt hard enough that they should've accomplished that task! In any case, I hope that I can find a good rhythm and power to be there to help Haimar in the coming days. That's it from France.
