Liege

Yes, the time has come for the prestigious Liege-Bastogne-Liege race. Tomorrow I will be toeing the line with some crazy huge number of cyclists (250+ I think) for about 260km of racing. It promises to be one of the hardest and certainly the biggest races I have ever competed in. Not so sure the game plan yet, but I believe one of my objectives will be to get in the break. I will give it all I have and see what happens. I think that is really all I can tell you about for now. I will try to give a race report as soon as I can, but I travel straight to Geneva, Switzerland for the start of Tour de Romandie on Tuesday (thru Sunday). See ya!

Matthew, We'll be thinking and praying for you to do well, and be safe. Have a great ride. We're missing you for the Tour of the Gila. Anything you want us to tell Lance, Levi, etc. JK ;)

Best of luck Matthew! I'll be looking for you in the break when I watch the coverage on Versus.

You showed up briefly on the SPORZA coverage live via the internet (around the time Valverde had troubles) It looked like you were going back to the car for waters etc. Horner did a great job and I suspect your bosses are happy with the result. Seems like Astana did a nice bait and switch on the entire peloton.

Bravo on finishing so strongly.
